Meet Elizabeth | Shop Purple Umbrella

Elizabeth is part of the inspiration for Shop Purple Umbrella. She is our illustrated muse, a trademarked, fictitious character, and at heart a city soul.

She greets the morning with calm and closes the night with a little rock n' roll. She is a dreamer who reminds us to seek balance: wellness with edge, beauty with purpose, and to remember to care for ourselves despite the chaos.

Every collection we curate is imagined with her in mind, confident, curious and never stops moving. She is equally at home on a New York City street corner and a yoga mat. She reads Wordsworth and listens to Led Zeppelin. She lights a candle before she answers her emails and always chooses the cozy option. She loves adventure, literature, and nature. 

When we are sourcing new products, we often ask ourselves: Would Elizabeth wear this? Would Elizabeth use this? Would Elizabeth love this? If the answer is yes it earns a place in the shop.
